Biodynamic agriculture is a holistic, ecological, and ethical approach to farming, gardening, food production, and the processing of agricultural products. It views the farm, garden, or any other tending of land and plants as a biodynamic system where all components of the system interact and influence one another. It is based on the view that the health of the whole is closely tied to the health of its individual components, so the farming practices used should result in a sustainable cycle where organic matter and nutrients are recycled back into the system.
